Sentro Botanikos, an eco-friendly café in Alfonso, Cavite, is advocating for this healthy food lifestyle. The café, situated amidst a sprawling and verdant farm setting, is owned by couple Joel and Ave, veteran restaurateurs and very warm and gracious to their guests. Their fresh fruit shakes and halo-halo are refreshing, and their vegetable-based dishes like Adobo ni Lola tastes like real adobo. The place holds a lot of promise with all the organic plants and vegetables they are growing and fresh air that is invigorating. The café is a nice addition within the Buck Estate area, surely a must-visit. It is also a bed and breakfast place, ideal for quiet reflection and for those who want to experience a simple provincial life and food.

From Manila, take Nasugbu-bound bus (bus station in Buendia, Lawton or South Terminal in Pasay). Get off in Buck Estate in Alfonso. From the highway, take a tricycle going to Sentro Botanikos.
