It’s raining flowers during the month of love in Baguio City, Philippines’ summer capital.

A Kankanaey term for "a season of blooming," Panagbenga is a festival as colorful and as fragrant as newly-bloomed rose. Every February, thousands of tourists flock to Baguio to witness the refreshing floral and float parades. The festival started in 1995 for the residents to help forget the devastating 1990 earthquake that almost destroyed the city and claimed the lives of many.

I Left my Heart in San Francisco

The chilliest winter I ever spent was the first day of summer in San Francisco.

It was a dream come true to visit the Land of Milk and Honey, see the Golden Gate Bridge, and finally set foot to the major destination country of Filipino migrants. I love SF every moment, every second, every rewind.
