The Lake Hotel Tagaytay

Love yourself enough to live a healthy lifestyle.

While it’s good news that summer has finally arrived, the bad news is Manila is turning into an inferno especially during midday. The nearest place one could cool down during this unforgiving time is of course Tagaytay.

Claiming to be a “healthy hotel”, Lake Hotel Tagaytay offers a complete array of amenities and facilities to ensure guests a soothing and relaxing weekend, away from the Metro. And who wouldn’t want to stay in a place that promotes health and wellness – the groundwork for all happiness.

Music is a sweet escape. Guests will definitely fall in love with the wonderful music played by the hotel’s resident pianist, who is stationed in the lobby.

Remember that people were not placed on this earth to walk alone. The Yupitun Executive Lounge is the hotel’s center for business and recreation, ideal for socializing with acquaintances, meetings, planning sessions and retreats.

Having a good night sleep is one of the best leisure activities. Every room is equipped with the Great 103 High-Tech invention magnetic mattress. Sleeping in this bed promotes over-all body restoration by applying a non-evasive magnetic therapy for therapeutic purposes. Each Room also has a bathtub so guests could enjoy hot bath – the original hydrotherapy.

I think some of the rooms are provided with a complimentary copy of “Life and Beyond”, an inspiring and meditation book for body and soul. My favorite passage was “Existence is marked by impermanence. Everything put together, sooner or later comes apart, including our precious lives.” Sad but true.

For a fulfilling meal, a salad, steak and wine at Steaktown by the Lake is perfect to please the appetite.

Those who wish to calm down their mind and body can simply sit back and relax at the Sukhabati Meditation Place and enjoy the scenic view of the lush surrounding and Taal Lake.

On the other hand, a day of play and recreation supports the spirit and keep the mind in vigor. The hotel has a children’s corner and a game room for sporty people.

For those who are up for a few strokes to get fit, the infinity and lap pools await.

But the best part of staying in this hotel is witnessing the break of dawn. It’s really not that hard to fall for Tagaytay.

Oh love life and it will love you back.
