So I guess I have to thank people who didn’t keep their promises to me, people who said yes that eventually became no, people who sent rejection notices, and people who cancelled on the very last minute. Because if not for them, I wouldn’t have gotten used to pain. I wouldn’t have fully accepted the simple truth that you can’t always get what you want. And I wouldn’t have mustered enough courage to face Today.
And Today never happened…
