Villa Javierto: Bringing peace into moments of chaos

“One cannot refuse to eat just because
there is a chance of being choked.”

In a busy, transit city of Lucena, Villa Javierto is a rare find like their exquisite paintings, heirlooms, antique collections and old, ancestral houses reminiscent of Spanish colonial era.

A charming bed and breakfast place with the mystical Mt. Banahaw at its backdrop, it is also the home of Catalino’s Restaurant which serves the sweetest coconut puree halo-halo I have ever tasted, and Pillar Plants and Novelties where arts and antiques blend harmoniously with the garden with a wishing well and static kalesas.

Moreover, the coolness of the lush surroundings is complemented by the warm hospitality of the family who owns the place. It’s sad to hear though that the family matriarch, who conceptualized (together with her husband) the Villa with so much passion and love, recently passed away.

This summer, let Villa Javierto teleport you back in time where everything was still as simple and rustic as a country life and as romantic as a moonlight serenade.
