San Agustin Church

“You have made flowers grow where I cultivated dust and stones. Remember this, on this journey you insist on making. If you die, I will not survive you long.”
- Robert Jordon

Built from 1587-1607, San Agustin has weathered war, earthquake, and fire, and is the oldest surviving stone church in the Philippines.

No one ever gets tired of loving

But everyone gets tired of waiting, assuming,
hearing promises, saying sorry and all the hurting.

The Solomon Guest House – Batch 24

“As for us, we hold to what we believed ten and twenty years ago; to what our forefathers believed one hundred years ago, and one thousand years ago, and to that which the whole Catholic world has always believed.”
- Brother Solomon Le Clerq

So while the cats are away, the mice had a little picnic at Solomon’s. The resto is run by courteous and talented SHRIM students of College of St. Benilde. They usually have a different theme every school term, and for Batch 24, it was Regional Filipino Cuisine.

Food’s great at a very affordable price. Pramis presyong UP, hindi La Salle! I even asked Nicole if we should give tip for the servers and she just said “Anong tip? May mga kotse lahat ng yan!

Emilio Aguinaldo Shrine: the cradle of Philippine liberation

The road to independence starts with change.

PS.
Lately, something has changed. I don’t know. I mean, I want to be your friend. But then again, I don’t. You know? I mean how can you simply be friends with someone when every time you look at them you’re thinking about how much more you really want?
