A true backpacker can travel across
three continents with just one pair of underwear. Okay maybe two. They are not
afraid to sleep in parks just to save a few dollars. And their Bible is The Lonely Planet.
For backpackers who might happen to
include the Philippines in their worldwide itinerary, well the opening of the Junction Hostel in Makati, may sound kinda good news.
Junction is hip, exciting and
budget-friendly. It is anything but typical. It is pulsating with life, vibrant
colors, and conspicuous numbers. They don’t offer complimentary breakfast but
they do have San Mig Light. And I guess for backpackers, that’s some sort of manna from heaven.
