Aomori Café Boutique

“Enjoy life sip by sip, not gulp by gulp.”
- The Minister of Leaves

An afternoon tea party isn’t a bad idea, especially if you’re spending it at Aomori, a dainty café, bakery, and grocery store in Greenhills area. Literally translated as “blue-green forest”, Aomori was named after the capital city of Aomori Prefecture in Northern Tokyo, Japan. With kitchen crew trained by master bakers from Backaldrin in Jordan and a Taiwanese professor who makes soft and tasty pastries and breads and with dishes created by celebrity Chef Sau Del Rosario, the Cafe aims to serve healthy delicacies and offer healthy products from around the world.

The first few things I noticed the moment I enter were the velvet couches, chandelier, and pretty tea sets and coffee makers, giving the café an elegant lounge-feel.

The café offers all-day breakfast and as they claim healthy ala-carte meals and teas. Let’s see.

The Beauty tea has antioxidants which
help protect against a boatload of cancers

Eggs Benedict has the highest-quality protein
which provides mental and physical energy

Gambas is a good source of astaxanthin, a nutrient
with anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties

Despite its fats, Baby back ribs are rich in
B-complex vitamins, which enhance beauty

Swiss chocolate cake contains large amount
of flavinoids ideal for cardiovascular benefits

Macaroons and cakes contains energy calories

Whole wheat bread is high in complex carbohydrates and
other nutrients and fiber - a microcosm of what diet should be

Blue Elephant Royal Thai Cuisine products add spice to life

Junk foods aren’t really healthy but potatoes contain
potassium that helps maintain normal blood pressure

Speculoos - the cookie butter people are craving and
raving about but please don’t consume in one sitting

It was indeed healthy and a total pleasure dining at Aomori.

Take time to savor life and may your heart feel lighter today.
